The Christmas List 2010

Sooooo, you want to do some Christmas shopping for the top forms of entertainment, but you are stumped at what to get.  No problem.  I have some recommendations of what was absolutely hot this year.  I've broken it down into different age types.

The Youngling:
Games: Tons of platformers and kart racers will fill the little tikes time full of non-violent fun.  If you want to be a little bit more expensive you can buy the body movement type peripherals (Xbox Kinect, PS3 Move)
Donkey Kong Kountry (Wii), Kirby Epic Yarn (Wii), Sin and Punishment 2 (Wii), Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii), Mod Nation Racer (PS3), PS3 Move Sports Bundle (PS3), Kinect w/ Sports (Xbox360), Dance Central (Xbox360), Kinect w/ Kinectimals (Xbox360).
Comics: Batman Brave and the Bold, Marvel Avenger Pets, Supergirl
Music: Newsboys--Born Again, Toby Mac--Tonight

The College Kid
Games: Lots of good choices this year for the college gamer.  There are other great choices this year, but we have only played these games. Goldeneye (Wii), Metroid Other M (Wii), Sin and Punishment 2 (Wii), Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii), Fallout New Vegas (multi), Assassins Creed Brotherhood (multi), Darksiders (multi), Halo Reach (Xbox360), Just Cause 2 (multi), Enslaved (multi), Rock Band 3 (multi).
Comics: Batman and Robin Reborn, Marvel Siege, DC Blackest Night, Marvel Powers
Music: Fly Leaf-- Memento Mori, Chevelle--Sci-fi Crimes, Passion Pit--Manners, John K Wells-- The Dash, Lovedrug-- Sucker Punch Show

The Older Adult:
Games: Zumba Wii (Wii), iPhone app giftcard (iPhone), Gold's Gym Cardio Kickboxing (Wii), Just Dance 2 (Wii), Kinect w/ EA Activities 2 (Xbox360)
Comics: Dilbert and Farside
Music: Elvis?  Neil Young?  What do older adults like?

El Cheapo
Games: Uncharted 2 (PS3, 24.99), Killzone 2 (PS3, 20.00), Infamous (PS3, 19.99), Little Big Planet (PS3, 29.99), Resistance 2 (PS3, 29.99), Gears of War 2 (Xbox 360, 19.99), Halo ODST (Xbox360, <29.99), Mass Effect (Xbox360, <19.99), Dead Space (multi, <19.99)
Comics: They are 2.99 a pop, how cheap can you be?
Music: Go to and look up $5 albums, download and burn
